Hello! My name is

Who am I?

Hello! I'm Alex, a software developer. I've always been interested in science and technology; as a kid, I loved getting my hands on anything that caught my interest and taking it apart to see how it worked. As an adult, I still love that. This curiosity led me to study engineering, where I discovered coding and instantly fell in love with how easy (and cheap!) it was to make and test my own ideas.

Over the years I've used my skills to develop a chat system for LineHayat, a student-run organization; improve the customer experience at Kombo, a startup in the transportation industry; and turn other projects into digital reality. Most recently I've been developing eventual.li, a web app to find events, aimed at people looking for things to do in their area.

I focus mostly on full stack web development with Node.js, React and Next.js using TypeScript. I also have experience with Python, Svelte, Rust and C++.

What have I done?
